Frequently Asked Questions
How old are you?
I am eighteen years old.
How long have you been playing guitar for?
I have been playing guitar since June of last year, and I have been playing ukulele since I was 12.
When did you start writing music?
I started writing music around the same time I picked up guitar. I really dove into writing after losing my best friend to suicide in September 2023.
Who are some of your inspirations?
My all-time inspiration is Megan Moroney! I have a similar writing and playing style to her, and her songs are some of my favorite to cover. It sometimes feels like we’ve had the exact same experiences, the way that her songs resonate with me. I got to see her live in April!
What are some songs you’ve written?
My mom’s favorite song I’ve written is “All I Needed Was Me”. I have a lot of songs I’ve written, but I haven’t gotten around to naming all of them. Some are on the “my performances” page! If they’re not there, feel free to look at my TikTok.
Do you have any mentors?
When I first started singing, Mark Narmore invited me to play at his church. From there, he has become somewhat of a teacher to me. Being a part of their praise band is a highlight of my career! I also am grateful to Braise Killen and his father, as they’ve helped me build my career in ways I never thought possible. My mom, of course, has been a huge help too. She’s a co-writer on a lot of my songs!
Do you do live-streamed events?
I live stream on my personal TikTok almost nightly. If you want to catch a performance, I’m most active between 10:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m.! I also make a post beforehand, letting people know I’ll be live.
What do you want to do professionally?
More than anything, I want to be a singer. Being on stage and performing for country music fans is the ultimate dream for me!
